HISTORY
Historically, AGD has been uniquely situated, strengthened by the integration levels of its economic activities. It was in this setting during the seventies that the opening of foreign markets and favorable conditions for exporting were powerful incentives for the company to continue developing its infrastructure.
In this way, the philosophy of continual reinvestment of profits provided Don Adrián Pascual Urquía with the means necessary for deciding to set a new link in the company logistics chain and developing a very significant project for the community: building a hotel in General Deheza.
This hotel was meant to provide comfort to the many customers and suppliers that came to the city as well as a new service to the inhabitants that equaled the services provided in the major cities of the region.
After a year of hard work and great expectations on the part of the community, on November 17th, 1979, "Posada del Labriego" (Inn of the Farmworker) opened its doors. Its name was inspired by the features of the vast majority of the community, qualities its founder discovered and wanted to preserve.
